Such a bad blogger

So I obviously don't keep up with this thing like I should. I am awful at writing, but I realize that one day, I would like to look back on these posts and see what I was doing at a certain time in life.

Right now, we are preparing for Thanksgiving. Lots of family will be there... it should be fun. This will be the last Thanksgiving that Michael will be there for at least a year. It might be a little tougher than normal.

As some people know, Michael has decided to join the Army. It is a HUGE decision, and one that our little family has done lots of research and talking about.  He will be a Radiology Tech in the Army and will leave for Basic Training June 10, 2013.  Following Basic Training, he will go on to his specialized schooling (AIT) in San Antonio, Texas (Ft. Sam Houston).  We are super excited about the opportunities that lie ahead, but we are also very nervous about being away from each other for so long.  All-in-all, Michael won't see Peyton and I for good until March, 2014. We will see him for a couple of days in August, but other than that, he will be in his schooling.  He is so excited and he is going to do so well. So from now on, I am an Army wife and we are an Army family.  Guess that means I have to get rid of my Air Force tee shirts.  :o(

Other than that, we only have a few more things going on in the Grizzle household.  Michael is going back to school (to get ready for Army schooling) and will finish his first semester of online schooling in one week.  He will start more classes at HGTC in January.

I, on the other hand, have decided to go back to school as well, and have enrolled in an online Masters degree program in Public Administration with a focus on Organizational Leadership.  I start in January as well.  Poor Peyton- he is going to have some stressed out parents!! Thank heavans my parents live close or I would be in the nut house.

I decided to go back to school in order to help me get a job at the potential various places we may be stationed at through the Army.  I figure the more schooling the better.  We shall see!

I will try to update this a little more as things happen with us and will try to include pictures.  With all the chaos beginning in January, this may make for a quite interesting blog.
